Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, stable, and dry surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the machine.
  2. Wash the water tank, drip tray, and portafilter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and insert it into the machine.
  4. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the machine is placed on a heat-resistant surface away from edges. Keep away from children.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, prime the machine by running water through the system without coffee.

  1. Ensure the water tank is full and properly seated.
  2. Turn the machine ON using the power button.
  3. Place a cup under the brew head. Select the hot water function and run water for 30 seconds to flush the system.
  4. Program your preferred cup sizes: Hold the espresso or coffee button until desired volume is reached, then release to save.
  5. Adjust the grind setting dial based on your coffee type (start at medium).

CAUTION! Do not touch hot surfaces during operation. Use handles provided.

Brewing Coffee & Espresso

For optimal extraction, use freshly roasted beans and filtered water.

  1. Ensure machine is ON and heated (Ready light illuminated).
  2. Fill the bean hopper with whole coffee beans.
  3. Select grind size using the dial (finer for espresso, coarser for coffee).
  4. Place a cup under the brew head.
  5. Select your beverage: Press Espresso for a single shot, or Coffee for a longer brew.
  6. The machine will automatically grind, tamp, and brew.
  7. To stop brewing manually, press the button again.

Tip: Preheat your cup with hot water for a better temperature experience.

Frothing Milk

Create cappuccinos and lattes using the steam wand.

  1. After brewing espresso, press the Steam button. Wait for the steam ready indicator.
  2. Fill a pitcher with cold milk (do not exceed half full).
  3. Submerge the steam wand tip just below the milk surface. Turn the steam knob to open.
  4. Keep the wand tip near the surface to create froth, then submerge to heat the milk.
  5. Turn the steam knob to close when milk reaches desired temperature (approx. 150°F).
  6. Wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth immediately and purge any residual milk.

WARNING! Steam is extremely hot. Never touch the wand during or immediately after use.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Empty drip tray and grounds container. Wipe steam wand and brew group with a damp cloth.

Weekly: Clean the water tank and drip tray with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.

Monthly Descaling: Run descaling solution through the machine as per instructions to remove mineral buildup.

CAUTION! Always unplug the machine before cleaning. Never immerse the main unit in water.
