Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
Wash carafe, lid, water reservoir, and filter basket with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
Insert charcoal water filter into reservoir and soak for 15 minutes.
Place empty carafe on warming plate.
Fill water reservoir with cold water to maximum line.
Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit; follow display prompts.

Set clock: Press CLOCK, use HOUR/MINUTE buttons, press CLOCK again to set.
Program auto-brew: Press PROGRAM, set desired brew time, press PROGRAM to confirm.
Select grind size: Turn grind selector dial (1= finest, 18= coarsest).
Select brew strength: Press BREW STRENGTH for regular or bold.
Run cleaning cycle: Brew a full carafe of water only (no coffee) to remove manufacturing residues.

Controls and Settings

Grinding Coffee Beans

Uses integrated conical burr grinder for consistent grind.

Fill bean hopper with whole beans (max 8 oz).
Select grind size using dial (1-18).
For auto-grind-brew: Grinder operates automatically during brew cycle.
For grind-only: Press and hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds to grind without brewing.
Adjust grind: Finer for stronger flavor, coarser for lighter flavor.

Tip: Use fresh whole beans and clean grinder monthly.

Brewing Coffee

Supports manual brew, programmed auto-brew, and brew strength selection.

Manual brew: Ensure water reservoir is filled. Place carafe. Press POWER, then AUTO ON/OFF to start.
Auto-brew: Set program time. Unit will grind and brew automatically at set time.
Brew strength: Press BREW STRENGTH to toggle between Regular and Bold.
Pause & serve: Press PAUSE during brew to pour a cup.
To stop brewing: Press AUTO ON/OFF.

WARNING! Do not remove carafe during brewing except when using Pause & Serve feature.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Empty grounds drawer, rinse carafe and filter basket. Weekly: Clean bean hopper and grinder chamber. Monthly: Descale with vinegar solution (run brew cycle with half water, half white vinegar, then rinse with two cycles of clean water).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners or immerse base in water.

Troubleshooting
