Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, dry, level surface away from edges.

  1. Install Charcoal Filter: Rinse filter, insert into water reservoir holder.
  2. Prepare Carafe: Wash carafe and lid with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Prime Filter Basket: Place a paper filter in basket, run a cycle with clean water only (no coffee).
  4. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First Use Instructions

Before first brew, perform a cleaning cycle.

  1. Fill water reservoir to MAX line with fresh cold water.
  2. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  3. Turn power ON; press CLEAN button if available, or simply start a brew cycle without coffee.
  4. Discard water from carafe after cycle completes.
  5. Your coffee maker is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Handle carafe with care; it can be heavy when full. Use both hands.

Programming & Customization

Set the clock and program auto-brew.

  1. Set Clock: Press and hold HOUR and MINUTE until correct time appears.
  2. Program Auto-Brew: Press PROGRAM, then use HOUR/MINUTE to set desired brew time. Press PROGRAM again to confirm.
  3. Auto Shut-Off: While powered on, press and hold POWER for 3 seconds to cycle through 0, 1, 2, 4-hour options.
  4. To cancel auto-brew: Press and hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds until display shows "OFF".

Tip: Ensure water reservoir is filled and carafe is in place before programmed brew time.

Brewing Coffee

For optimal flavor, use fresh, cold water and medium grind coffee.

  1. Fill reservoir with cold water to desired cup level.
  2. Insert filter (paper or permanent) into basket.
  3. Add coffee grounds: 1 tablespoon per cup (adjust to taste).
  4. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  5. Press POWER to start brewing.
  6. Brew Pause: You may press POWER briefly during brew to pause and pour a cup.
  7. When cycle finishes, carafe will keep coffee hot. Pour using handle; replace lid promptly.

WARNING! Do not remove carafe during active brewing unless using pause function. Hot liquid may spill.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

Daily: Wash carafe and lid with warm soapy water. Rinse basket. Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
Monthly: Descale using vinegar solution or commercial descaler when CLEAN light illuminates.
Filter Replacement: Change charcoal water filter every 60 days or after 60 uses.
Descaling Procedure: Fill reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water. Run brew cycle without coffee. Rinse by running 2-3 cycles with fresh water only.

Care Instructions

Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse base in water. Use only soft, damp cloth for exterior.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Avoid getting water in control panel.
