Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface near a power outlet and water source.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash the glass carafe, reusable filter, frothing pitcher, and travel mug with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the MAX line.
  4. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the unit is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.

First-Time Use

Before first brew, run a water-only cycle through each system to clean the internal lines.

  1. For 12-cup side: Place empty carafe on warming plate. Press POWER, then BREW. Discard water.
  2. For single-serve side: Place travel mug or cup on drip tray. Select HOT WATER function and run a cycle. Discard water.
  3. For frother: Fill frothing pitcher with clean water to MIN line. Select HOT MILK function and run. Discard water.
  4. Your Coffee Center is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Do not use without water in the reservoir. The heating element can be damaged.

Controls and Functions

Control Panel (from left to right): POWER Button, CLOCK/TIMER Set, BREW STRENGTH (Bold/Regular), PROGRAM, AUTO ON, AUTO OFF, HOT WATER, HOT MILK/FOAM, SINGLE-SERVE BREW Button, 12-CUP BREW Button.

Indicator Lights: LED lights show active function and power status.

Setting the Clock: Press and hold CLOCK/TIMER, use HOUR and MIN buttons. Press CLOCK/TIMER to set.

Programming Auto Brew: Press PROGRAM, set time with HOUR/MIN, press AUTO ON. Ensure water and coffee are loaded.

Brew Pause: During 12-cup brew, you can remove the carafe for up to 20 seconds to pour a cup.

Brewing Guide

For 12-Cup Coffee:

  1. Fill reservoir with water.
  2. Place permanent filter in basket, add ground coffee (1 tbsp per cup).
  3. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  4. Press POWER, select BREW STRENGTH if desired, press BREW.

For Single-Serve:

  1. Place cup or travel mug on drip tray.
  2. Lift pod holder, insert a pod or add ground coffee to reusable pod.
  3. Close pod holder.
  4. Press SINGLE-SERVE BREW. The default size is 8 oz. Press again during brew to stop at desired amount.

For Hot Water: Place cup under spout. Press HOT WATER. Press again to stop.

Tip: Use fresh, cold water and medium grind coffee for best results.

Milk Frothing

The automatic frother heats and froths milk for lattes and cappuccinos.

  1. Pour cold milk into the frothing pitcher between MIN and MAX lines. Do not exceed MAX.
  2. Place pitcher under the frother arm, ensuring it is securely locked.
  3. Select desired function: HOT MILK for steamed milk, HOT MILK/FOAM for frothy milk.
  4. Press START. The cycle runs automatically and stops when complete.
  5. Carefully remove pitcher. Wipe frother arm with a damp cloth immediately.

WARNING! Pitcher and milk become very hot. Use handle. Do not touch frother arm during or immediately after use.

Care & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

Daily: Empty and rinse carafe, filter basket, and drip tray. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed):

  1. Fill reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water.
  2. Run a brew cycle through both the 12-cup and single-serve sides (without coffee).
  3. Discard vinegar solution. Run 2-3 cycles of clean water through each side to rinse.
  4. Clean the frother by running a water-only HOT MILK cycle.

CAUTION! Unplug unit and let it cool completely before cleaning. Never immerse base, cord, or plug in water.
