Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder in water reservoir.
Fill water reservoir completely and run a brewing cycle with only water to clean the system.
Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources and edges.

First-Time Setup

After initial cleaning cycle, unit is ready for programming.

Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR/MINUTE buttons to set time.
Program auto-brew: Press PROGRAM button, set desired brew time using HOUR/MINUTE.
Select brew strength: Use BREW STRENGTH button for Regular or Bold.
Select grind size: Turn GRIND SIZE dial to desired setting (Fine to Coarse).
Fill water reservoir and add whole beans to grinder hopper.

Using the Grinder

Grinder operates automatically during brew cycle when whole beans are in hopper.

During brew cycle, grinder will automatically grind beans for that cycle.
For manual grinding (without brewing), press and hold GRIND button.

Tip: Clean grinder regularly to prevent oil buildup from affecting flavor.

Brewing Coffee

Supports both ground coffee and whole beans with automatic grinding.

Fill water reservoir to desired level (using water window as guide).
Insert charcoal filter if using.
Add whole beans to hopper OR place ground coffee in filter basket.
Place empty carafe on warming plate.
Select brew strength (Regular/Bold).
Press BREW button to start immediate brewing OR set PROGRAM for delayed brew.
Pause & Serve feature allows pouring during brew cycle.
Auto shut-off turns unit off after brewing completes.

WARNING! Never brew without carafe in place. Hot liquid can cause burns.

Hot Water System

Separate hot water dispenser for beverages requiring hot water only.

Ensure water reservoir has sufficient water.
Place cup or container under hot water spout.
Press HOT WATER button to dispense.
Release button to stop flow.

Note: Hot water temperature is approximately 200°F (93°C). Use caution.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Clean after each use to maintain performance.

Daily: Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm soapy water.
Weekly: Run cleaning cycle with vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
Monthly: Clean grinder with brush provided; wipe exterior with damp cloth.
Replace charcoal water filter every 60 days or after 60 uses.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse unit in water.
