Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the unit.
  2. Wash carafe, filter basket, and water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder in water reservoir (soak filter 15 minutes first).
  4. Fill water reservoir completely and run a brewing cycle without coffee to clean the system.
  5. Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources and edges.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; LCD will flash 12:00.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, then use HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set time.
  2. Program auto brew: Press PROG button, set brew time using HOUR/MINUTE, then press AUTO ON.
  3. Select brew strength: Press BREW STRENGTH button to toggle between REGULAR and BOLD.
  4. Test hot water dispenser: Press HOT WATER button after unit is ready (green light).

CAUTION! Ensure water reservoir is filled before brewing. Never operate without water.

Using the Hot Water Dispenser

Provides instant hot water (approx. 200°F) for various uses.

  1. Ensure unit is plugged in and powered on.
  2. Wait for HOT WATER ready light to turn green (approx. 5 minutes after power on).
  3. Place cup or mug under hot water outlet.
  4. Press and hold HOT WATER button to dispense.
  5. Release button to stop.

Tip: Use only with cups/mugs rated for hot liquids. Do not touch hot water outlet.

Brewing Coffee

Supports both full carafe brewing and single-serve options.

  1. Fill water reservoir to desired level (use cup markings).
  2. Insert charcoal filter (if using) and paper filter into filter basket.
  3. Add ground coffee (1 tablespoon per cup, adjust to taste).
  4. Place empty carafe or mug on warming plate/single-serve station.
  5. Press BREW to start immediate brewing, or wait for auto brew if programmed.
  6. Use PAUSE & SERVE feature to pour a cup during brewing.
  7. Audible signal sounds when brewing complete.
  8. Auto shut-off activates 2 hours after brewing finishes.

WARNING! Never remove carafe during brewing unless using PAUSE & SERVE. Hot liquid can cause burns.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
