Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a clean, dry, level surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash carafe, filter basket, and water reservoir with warm soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert charcoal water filter into holder in water reservoir (soak filter 15 minutes first).
  4. Fill water reservoir completely and run a brewing cycle without coffee to clean system.
  5. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure unit is on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Use

Set clock and prepare for brewing.

  1. Set Clock: Press and hold CLOCK button; use HOUR/MIN to set time.
  2. Prime System: Fill reservoir, place empty carafe, press BREW on 12-cup side to run water through.
  3. Insert Filter: Place paper or permanent filter in basket.
  4. Add Coffee: Use 1 tablespoon ground coffee per cup (adjust to taste).
  5. Brew: Press BREW to start immediate brewing or set AUTO START for later.

Brewing Coffee

  4. Use brew pause to pour coffee before cycle finishes.
  5. Program auto start: Set clock, press AUTO START, set brew time, press BREW to activate.

Tip: Use fresh cold water and clean system regularly for best taste.

Using the Hot Water System

Dispenses hot water for various beverages.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled.
  2. Place cup or container under hot water outlet.
  3. Press HOT WATER button; water will begin dispensing.
  4. Press again to stop, or it will stop automatically when reservoir is empty.
  5. Adjust temperature via settings menu if needed (default 200°F).

WARNING! Hot water can cause burns. Keep away from children.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Empty carafe and rinse; wipe housing with damp cloth.
