Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Install charcoal filter: Rinse filter, insert into holder in water reservoir.
Insert permanent filter: Place gold-tone filter into filter basket.
Fill water reservoir: Lift lid, add water up to MAX line.
Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse unit in water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; follow initial setup steps.

Set clock: Press CLOCK, use HOUR/MINUTE buttons to set time.
Prime system: Run a brew cycle with water only (no coffee).

Brewing Coffee

Supports ground coffee for carafe and single-serve; compatible with pods.

For single-serve: Place travel mug or cup, add coffee to reusable filter, select cup size, press BREW.
Auto brew: Set PROGRAM time; ensure water and coffee are loaded, unit will brew automatically.
Brew pause: Press carafe against platform to pause; remove to resume.
Hot water: Press HOT WATER button to dispense for tea, cocoa, etc.

WARNING! Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles. Ensure carafe is properly seated.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Unplug and cool before cleaning. Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Clean carafe with mild detergent.

Descale monthly: Mix vinegar and water (1:2), run brew cycle, then run 2 cycles with clean water.
Clean filter basket: Remove, wash with warm soapy water.
Replace charcoal filter: Every 60 days or after 60 uses.
Clean water reservoir: Wipe with damp cloth; do not immerse.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse unit in water.
