Brewing Coffee

Ensure the carafe is correctly positioned on the warming plate.
Press the ON/OFF button. The "BREW" light will illuminate, and brewing begins.
Use the PAUSE & SERVE feature anytime during brewing to pour a cup.
When brewing is complete, an audible signal will sound. The AUTO OFF countdown begins.

WARNING! Never operate without water in the reservoir or without the carafe in place.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Empty and rinse carafe and filter basket. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth.

Weekly/Descaling: Run a cleaning cycle every 40-80 brew cycles or when mineral deposits are visible.

Fill reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water to the 12-cup line.
Place an empty filter in the basket and ensure the carafe is in place.
Press the CLEAN button. The cycle will run for approximately 30 minutes.
After cycle, discard vinegar solution. Run 2-3 cycles with fresh water only to rinse.

CAUTION! Unplug and allow to cool completely before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners.
