Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, dry, level surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Power on coffeemaker; set time and program if desired.

  1. Set Clock: Press and hold HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set current time.

  3. Add Water: Fill reservoir with cold water to desired cup level.

  2. Press PROGRAM button; PROGRAM light flashes.
  3. Use HOUR/MINUTE to set desired brew start time.
  4. Press AUTO ON; AUTO ON light stays on.
  5. Add water and coffee to unit; it will brew at set time.

Tip: To cancel auto brew, press and hold AUTO ON for 3 seconds until light turns off.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Daily: Empty carafe and rinse with warm water. Wipe warming plate with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Clean filter basket and water reservoir. Remove charcoal filter, rinse under cold water.
  3. Monthly: Descale with vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Run brewing cycle, then run 2 cycles with clean water to rinse.
  4. Charcoal Filter: Replace every 60 brew cycles or every 2 months.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse base in water.

Care Instructions

Use only ground coffee; do not use espresso or finely ground coffee. Use cold water only. Do not place on hot surfaces or near open flame.

CAUTION! Carafe is hot after brewing; use handle. Do not use cracked carafe.
