Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, stable surface.

1. Insert charcoal filter: Soak filter in water for 15 minutes, place in filter holder.
2. Fill water reservoir: Lift lid, pour fresh cold water up to 12-cup mark.
3. Place carafe: Ensure carafe is centered on warming plate.
4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse unit in water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; follow initial setup steps.

1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR/MIN to set time.
2. Prime hot water system: Press HOT WATER button to fill system (first use only).

Using the Hot Water System

Programming & Brewing

Cleaning & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Wash carafe and filter basket in warm soapy water.

1. Descale monthly: Run vinegar solution through brew cycle, then rinse with clean water.
2. Replace charcoal filter: Every 60 days or as indicated.
3. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
