Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Place toaster on a flat, dry, stable surface away from edges.
  3. Ensure at least 3 inches of clearance on all sides for ventilation.
  4. Plug into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not place under cabinets or near flammable materials. Ensure cord is not touching hot surfaces.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, operate toaster without bread to burn off manufacturing residues.

  1. Set Browning Control Dial to medium setting.
  2. Press carriage lever down without bread and let it complete a full cycle.
  3. Repeat once to ensure any residues are removed.
  4. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

CAUTION! Expect slight smoke or odor during first use; this is normal. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Operation: Insert bread, select function if needed, set browning dial, press lever down to start.

Browning: Dial 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest). Functions: Press REHEAT for warming; DEFROST for frozen items; BAGEL for toasting cut side only (uses inner heating elements). Cancel: Press CANCEL to stop cycle at any time. High-Lift: Raises lever fully to retrieve small items.

Using the Toaster

For best results, use bread slices of even thickness.

  1. Plug in toaster; ensure crumb tray is in place.
  2. Insert bread into slots (max 4 slices).
  3. Select function: For bagels, press BAGEL button (toasts cut side only).
  4. Set Browning Control Dial (3-5 recommended for most bread).
  5. Press carriage lever down until it locks; LED will illuminate.
  6. Toast will pop up automatically when cycle completes.
  7. For manual stop, press CANCEL button.

Tip: Do not force foods into slots. Never insert metal utensils.

Special Functions

Reheat: Press REHEAT before lowering lever to warm without additional browning. Defrost: Press DEFROST for frozen items; toaster will adjust timing. Bagel: Press BAGEL to toast cut side only (inner heating elements active). Cancel: Stops cycle immediately; carriage will pop up.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug and cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Remove crumb tray and empty crumbs regularly.
  2. Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  3. Never immerse toaster in water or other liquids.
  4. Ensure interior is free of crumbs to prevent fire hazard.

CAUTION! Do not use metal utensils to remove stuck items. Never clean with scouring pads.
