Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

  3. Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder (soak filter first if required).

WARNING! Do not immerse coffeemaker, cord, or plug in water. Handle glass carafe with care.

First-Time Setup

Plug in coffeemaker; follow initial setup steps.

  3. Brew: Press BREW to start immediately, or set PROGRAM for delayed brew.
  4. Pause: Press BREW PAUSE during cycle to pour a cup.
  5. Auto shut-off: Unit turns off automatically after selected time (0-4 hrs).
  6. Keep warm: Plate keeps coffee warm for up to 4 hours (if auto-off not set to 0).

Tip: For optimal taste, use filtered water and replace charcoal filter every 60 cycles.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Empty and rinse carafe and filter basket. Weekly: Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water. Monthly: Descale with vinegar solution.

  1. Descale: When CLEAN light illuminates, fill reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water. Run brew cycle halfway, then turn off and let sit 30 minutes. Complete cycle, then run 2-3 cycles with clean water to rinse.
  2. Charcoal filter: Replace every 60 brew cycles or 3 months (soak new filter 15 minutes before first use).
  3. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse base in water.
