Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the unit.
Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder (soak filter first for 15 minutes).
Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse coffee maker, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on coffee maker; follow control panel prompts.

Set the clock: Press and hold CLOCK, then use HOUR and MIN buttons to set time.
Prime the filter: Run a water-only brewing cycle (without coffee) to activate filter.
Program auto brew: Use PROGRAM button to set desired brew time.

Controls and Settings

Cleaning & Maintenance

Monthly: Run cleaning cycle (press CLEAN with vinegar/water solution).
Filter: Replace charcoal water filter every 60 cycles or 2 months.
Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Descale regularly if using hard water.

Programming Guide

Set auto brew time for convenience.

Press and hold PROGRAM until display flashes.
Use HOUR and MIN to set desired brew time.
Press PROGRAM again to confirm.
Ensure AUTO ON indicator is lit.
To disable, press AUTO ON/OFF until indicator turns off.

Tip: Program the night before for fresh coffee in the morning.
