Installation

  3. Insert the charcoal water filter into the holder and soak it in water for 15 minutes. Rinse under running water for 1 minute.
  4. Place the filter holder into the water reservoir.
  5. Fill the water reservoir completely with cold water and run a brewing cycle without coffee to clean the interior. Discard this water.

WARNING! Do not immerse the coffeemaker base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid. Ensure the power cord is not dangling over the edge of a counter.

First-Time Setup

Plug the coffeemaker into a standard 120V AC outlet. The LCD will illuminate.

  1. Set the Clock: Press and hold the HOUR and MIN buttons until the correct time is displayed.
  2. Prime the Filter: After the initial cleaning cycle, your filter is ready for use.
  3. Select Auto Shut-Off: Press the AUTO OFF button to cycle through 0, 2, or 4-hour settings.
  4. Select Keep Warm Temp: Press the TEMP button to toggle between LOW and HIGH warming plate temperature.

Programming Instructions

To set the coffeemaker to brew automatically at a specific time:

  1. Ensure the clock is set to the correct current time.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with the desired amount of cold water.
  3. Place a filter and the desired amount of coffee grounds into the filter basket.
  4. Press the PROGRAM button. The PROGRAM light will blink.
  5. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time you want brewing to begin.
  6. Press PROGRAM again to confirm. The PROGRAM light will stay lit.
  7. The coffeemaker will now automatically brew at the set time. To cancel, press and hold PROGRAM until the light turns off.
