Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface away from edges.

Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
Wash carafe lid, filter basket, and charcoal filter holder in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder and soak in water for 15 minutes.
Place filter holder in water reservoir.
Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

First-Time Setup

Power on coffee maker; follow initial setup steps.

Brewing Coffee

For best results, use fresh, cold water and medium grind coffee.

Press POWER to start immediate brew, or PROGRAM for delayed brew.
During brew, PAUSE & SERVE allows you to pour a cup.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket. Monthly: Descale with vinegar solution.

Self-cleaning cycle: Fill reservoir with equal parts vinegar and water. Press CLEAN button (if equipped) or run brew cycle without coffee. Rinse with two cycles of fresh water.
Charcoal filter: Replace every 60 days or after 60 uses.
