Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, dry, level, and heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Insert the charcoal water filter into the filter holder (soak filter first for 15 minutes).
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse the coffeemaker base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, perform a cleaning cycle without coffee.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh water up to the 14-cup mark.
  2. Place an empty filter in the filter basket and close the lid.
  3. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
  4. Press the CLEAN button. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 30 minutes.
  5. After cycle completes, discard water and rinse carafe. The unit is now ready for brewing.

CAUTION! The warming plate and carafe will become hot during use. Handle with care.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse carafe and filter basket after each use.
  2. Weekly: Run a cleaning cycle with vinegar or commercial cleaner to remove mineral deposits.
  3. Monthly: Replace the charcoal water filter (soak new filter 15 min before first use).
  4. Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Tip: Descale regularly if you have hard water to prevent clogging and maintain heating efficiency.

Programming & Operation

Supports manual brew, programmed brew, and brew pause.

  1. Manual Brew: Add water and coffee, press POWER, then press BREW.
  2. Program Brew: Set clock. Press PROGRAM, then use HOUR/MIN to set brew time. Press AUTO ON to activate. "PROGRAM" icon will light.
  3. Brew Pause: Press BREW PAUSE during brewing to temporarily stop flow and pour a cup.
  4. 1-4 Cup Setting: Press the 1-4 CUP button when making small batches for optimal extraction.
  5. Strength Select: Press STRENGTH before brewing to choose Bold or Regular.
  6. Auto Shut-Off: Press AUTO OFF to set delay (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 hours).

WARNING! Never operate without water in the reservoir. Always use the carafe when brewing.
