Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

  1. Insert Charcoal Filter: Soak filter in water for 15 minutes, then place in filter basket.
  2. Wash Carafe and Parts: Wash carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm, soapy water.
  3. Prime the Coffeemaker: Fill reservoir with water and run a brewing cycle without coffee.
  4. Plug into AC power (120V).

WARNING! Do not immerse coffeemaker in water. Ensure hands are dry when plugging in.

First-Time Use

Power on coffeemaker; set clock and preferences.

  1. Set the Clock: Press and hold CLOCK, then use HOUR and MIN buttons.
  2. Program Auto Brew: Press PROGRAM, set desired brew time using HOUR/MIN.
  3. Select Auto-Off: Press AUTO OFF to choose 0, 2, or 4 hours.
  4. Brew Manually: Add water and coffee, press ON/OFF to start.

  3. Press PROGRAM again to confirm.
  4. Add water and coffee grounds; unit will brew at set time.
  5. To cancel program, press and hold PROGRAM until "PROG" disappears.

Tip: Ensure water reservoir is filled and coffee grounds are added before programmed time.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse carafe and filter basket.
  2. Weekly: Clean carafe with vinegar solution to remove stains.
  3. Monthly: Run self-cleaning cycle (press CLEAN when indicator lights).
  4. Filter Replacement: Replace charcoal filter every 60 cycles or 2 months.

WARNING! Unplug and cool completely before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Care Instructions

Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Descale every 3-6 months with vinegar solution.
