Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, stable, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the machine.
  2. Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert securely.
  3. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
  4. Allow the machine to heat up (approximately 5 minutes) before first use.

WARNING! Ensure the machine is placed away from edges and out of reach of children. Do not operate without water in the tank.

First-Time Setup

Power on the machine; allow it to complete its initial heating cycle.

  1. Prime the system: Run a cycle of hot water through the brew head and steam wand without coffee to clean internal components.
  2. Insert the portafilter: Ensure it is properly locked into the group head.
  3. Set your preferences: Use the control buttons to program desired coffee strength and temperature.
  4. Test with a blank shot: Brew hot water to ensure all functions are working correctly.

CAUTION! The exterior surfaces, portafilter, and steam wand will become very hot during use. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, BREW button, STEAM button, Coffee Strength selector (1-3), Temperature selector (Low/Med/High).

Indicator Lights: Power On, Heating, Ready to Brew, Steam Ready.

Programming: Press and hold the Coffee Strength button for 3 seconds to enter programming mode. Use the +/- buttons to adjust. Settings are saved automatically.

Default Settings: Strength = 2 (Medium), Temperature = Medium.

Brewing Coffee

Supports brewing single or double shots of espresso using ground coffee or ESE pods.

  1. Preheat: Ensure machine is fully heated (Ready light is on). Place a warm cup under the brew head.
  2. Prepare Portafilter: Insert correct basket (single or double). Fill with finely ground coffee and tamp firmly.
  3. Lock In: Securely lock the portafilter into the group head.
  4. Brew: Press the BREW button. The machine will dispense espresso for a pre-set time or until you press STOP.
  5. For ESE Pods: Place one pod in the dedicated basket and lock in. Brew as normal.

Tip: Use fresh, cold water and freshly ground coffee beans for best results.

Milk Frothing

Use the steam wand to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes.

  1. Fill a stainless steel pitcher with cold milk (do not exceed half full).
  2. Press the STEAM button. Wait for the Steam Ready light to illuminate.
  3. Open the steam valve briefly to purge any condensed water.
  4. Submerge the steam wand tip just below the milk surface. Turn the knob to open steam fully.
  5. Froth by keeping the wand tip near the surface to create foam. Heat milk to desired temperature (approx. 150°F).
  6. Close the steam valve. Wipe the wand immediately with a damp cloth.
  7. Purge the wand again to clear any milk residue.

WARNING! Steam is extremely hot. Never direct the steam wand towards yourself or others.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and water tank. Backflush the group head with clean water.

Weekly: Descale the machine using a solution of white vinegar and water or a commercial descaling agent. Clean the steam wand thoroughly.

Monthly: Remove and clean the shower screen and portafilter baskets. Soak in warm, soapy water.

CAUTION! Always unplug the machine and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Never immerse the main unit in water.

Safety Features

Automatic Shut-Off: Turns the machine off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Overheat Protection: Internal thermostat prevents damage. Drip Tray Full Indicator: Alerts you when the tray needs emptying.
