Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Fill water tank: Remove tank, fill with fresh cold water, reinsert securely.
  3. Plug into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Place empty portafilter into group head and run water through machine to flush system (see First-Time Setup).

WARNING! Ensure machine is unplugged during initial setup. Keep away from water sources to prevent electrical hazard.

First-Time Setup

Power on machine; allow to heat up (approx. 3 minutes).

  1. Initial flush: Place cup under portafilter, press single shot button to run water through system for 30 seconds.
  2. Program shot volume: Hold single or double button until desired volume is reached, then release to save.
  3. Pre-warm cups: Place cups on warming tray during heat-up.
  4. Prime steam wand: Turn selector to steam, place container under wand, open steam valve briefly until steady steam flow appears.

CAUTION! Surfaces become hot during operation. Use handles and avoid contact with steam wand.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: Power button, Single/Double shot buttons, Steam/Wand selector knob, Ready/Steam indicator lights.

Operation: Power ON/OFF, select brew or steam mode, program shot volume, activate steam wand.

Brewing: Use single/double buttons for pre-programmed volumes; manual override by pressing and holding. Steaming: Turn selector to steam position, wait for steam light, open wand valve. Cleaning: Use cleaning program (hold single and double buttons for 3 seconds) for descaling cycle.

Brewing Espresso

Use freshly ground espresso coffee.

  1. Grind coffee to fine espresso consistency.
  2. Dose: Fill filter basket, level with scoop, tamp firmly with tamper.
  3. Insert portafilter into group head, twist to lock.
  4. Place pre-warmed cup under portafilter.
  5. Press single or double shot button; extraction should take 25-30 seconds for 1-2 oz.
  6. Stop manually if desired by pressing button again.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and purge group head before each shot.

Frothing Milk

For cappuccino or latte.

  1. Fill frothing pitcher with cold milk (½ full for expansion).
  2. Turn selector knob to steam position; wait for steam ready light.
  3. Open steam valve briefly to purge condensation.
  4. Submerge wand tip just below milk surface, open valve fully.
  5. Lower pitcher as foam forms to maintain tip position.
  6. Heat milk to desired temperature (approx. 150°F).
  7. Close valve, wipe wand with damp cloth, purge briefly.

WARNING! Steam is extremely hot. Keep hands clear and use pitcher handle.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Clean portafilter, baskets, drip tray, steam wand. Weekly: Backflush with cleaning disc (if provided). Monthly: Descale with approved solution.

  1. Unplug machine and cool completely.
  2. Remove and rinse all removable parts in warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse.
  4. Descale: Run descaling solution through system as per instructions.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or submerge machine. Always descale regularly to prevent mineral buildup.
