Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, stable, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Fill water reservoir: Remove, fill with fresh cold water, reinsert.
  3. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.
  4. Prime the machine: Turn on, run water through group head without coffee.

WARNING! Ensure machine is on level surface away from edges. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on machine; allow to heat up (approx. 2 minutes).

  1. Set grind size: Adjust dial to medium setting (position 4-5).
  2. Program shot volumes: Press and hold single/double button until desired volume is reached, then release.
  3. Purge steam wand: Turn steam knob to release water before frothing.
  4. Insert filter basket: Ensure portafilter is securely locked into group head.

CAUTION! Surfaces become hot during use. Do not touch group head or steam wand.

Grind Settings: 1 (finest) to 10 (coarsest). Programmable Volumes: Single (25-60ml), Double (60-120ml). Steam Control: Turn knob to activate steam wand; adjust pressure. Auto Shut-off: Activates after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Brewing Coffee & Espresso

Use freshly ground coffee beans for best results.

  1. Turn on machine; wait for READY light.
  2. Grind beans: Adjust dial, fill hopper, grind directly into portafilter.
  3. Tamp coffee: Apply firm, even pressure.
  4. Lock portafilter into group head.
  5. Place cup under spout; press single or double button.
  6. Stop extraction manually if desired by pressing button again.

Tip: Use 18-20g of coffee for double shot. Preheat cups on warming tray.

Milk Frothing

For cappuccinos, lattes, and other milk-based drinks.

  1. Fill pitcher with cold milk (½ full for frothing).
  2. Purge steam wand: Turn knob briefly to release water.
  3. Submerge wand tip just below milk surface; turn knob fully.
  4. Froth until milk doubles in volume and reaches 150°F.
  5. Turn knob off; wipe wand with damp cloth immediately.

WARNING! Steam wand is extremely hot. Always use handle and keep hands clear.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Clean steam wand, drip tray, and water reservoir. Weekly: Backflush with cleaning tablet. Monthly: Descale with vinegar solution.

  1. Unplug machine and allow to cool.
  2. Remove and clean drip tray, water tank.
  3. Clean group head with brush after each use.
  4. Descale: Run vinegar/water solution through system, then flush with clean water.

CAUTION! Never immerse machine in water. Use only recommended cleaning agents.
