WARNING! Keep the toaster away from water and other liquids. Do not use outdoors. Ensure there is ample clearance on all sides during operation.
After the initial burn-off cycle, the toaster is ready for use.
CAUTION! Never insert metal utensils, fingers, or oversized food. Do not cover the toaster during use.
All controls are located on the front of the toaster.
Shade Selector Dial: Turn to select browning level (1=Lightest, 6=Darkest).
Bagel Button: Press before lowering the lever to activate the bagel function (toasts cut side only). The button will light up.
Defrost Button: Press before lowering the lever to add extra time for toasting frozen items. The button will light up.
Reheat Button: Press before lowering the lever to warm items without additional browning. The button will light up.

Combining Functions: The DEFROST and REHEAT functions can be used together. For example, to reheat a frozen waffle, press both DEFROST and REHEAT before lowering the lever.
High-Lift Lever: After toasting, you can manually lift the carriage lever higher than its automatic stop point to safely retrieve small items like pastry heels or English muffin halves.
One-Slice Toasting: You can toast a single slice in either slot. There is no need to adjust settings.
Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
CAUTION! Do not immerse the toaster, cord, or plug in water or any liquid. Never use the toaster if the crumb tray is not in place.
