Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the unit.
Wash carafe, filter basket, and permanent filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder in water reservoir (soak filter first for 15 minutes).
Place empty carafe on warming plate.
Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse cord, plug, or unit in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on coffee maker; set clock and prepare for first brew.

Set the clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR and MIN buttons to set correct time.

Insert permanent filter into filter basket.
