Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder in water reservoir.
Fill water reservoir completely and run a brew cycle without coffee to clean interior.
Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit; set clock and program auto-brew if desired.

Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, then use HOUR and MIN buttons to set time.
Program auto-brew: Press PROG button, set brew time using HOUR and MIN, then press AUTO ON.
Adjust grind: Turn grind selector knob to desired setting (coarse to fine).

Controls and Settings

Brewing Coffee

Supports whole bean or pre-ground coffee.

Place empty carafe on warming plate.
Select grind setting and brew strength.
Press POWER to start brewing immediately, or set auto-brew timer.

When brewing completes, auto-shutoff turns unit off after 2 hours.

WARNING! Do not remove carafe during brewing unless using pause-and-serve feature.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Clean after each use.

Carafe and filter basket: Wash with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
Grinder: Wipe with dry cloth; do not wash.
Charcoal filter: Replace every 60 uses or 2 months.
Descale: Run vinegar solution through brew cycle monthly if using hard water.
CLEAN indicator: Light stays on when cleaning is required; press and hold CLEAN for 3 seconds to reset after cleaning.
