Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the coffee maker.
2. Wash carafe, filter basket, and scoop with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
3. Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder (soak filter first for 15 minutes).
4. Place coffee maker on a dry, level surface away from edges.
5. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse coffee maker, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on coffee maker; set clock before programming.

1. Fill water reservoir with cold water to desired cup level.
2. Insert gold-tone filter into filter basket.
3. Add medium-grind coffee to filter (1 scoop per cup).
4. Set clock: Press and hold HOUR and MINUTE buttons until correct time displays.
5. For first use, brew a full carafe of water only to clean interior.

CAUTION! Ensure carafe is properly seated on warming plate before brewing.

3. Press PROGRAM; "PROG" appears.
4. Use HOUR and MINUTE to set desired brew time.
5. Press PROGRAM again to confirm.
6. Coffee maker will automatically brew at set time.
7. For immediate brew: Ensure carafe is in place and press POWER.

WARNING! Do not remove carafe during brewing except during brew pause feature.

PerfecTemp Technology

Exclusive feature maintains brewed coffee at ideal serving temperature (approximately 175°F–185°F) without burning or bitterness. Works automatically after brewing cycle completes.

Care & Storage

Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning. Store in a dry place. Do not wrap cord tightly around base.
