Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

  1. Place griddle on a clean, dry, level, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides and above the unit.
  3. Insert the removable drip tray into the slot at the front of the griddle.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

WARNING! Never place the griddle on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. Keep away from flammable materials.

First-Time Use

Before first use, clean the griddle surface and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

  1. Plug in the unit. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting. The ready light will turn on.
  3. Allow the griddle to preheat for 5-10 minutes. The ready light will turn off when the selected temperature is reached.
  4. Lightly grease the cooking surface with a small amount of cooking oil or butter if desired.
  5. Begin cooking.

CAUTION! The cooking surface and housing will become very hot during use. Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling.

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the temperature dial located on the front of the unit.

Indicator Lights: Power Light (Green) indicates unit is receiving power. Ready Light (Red) indicates the griddle is heating up and will turn off when the set temperature is reached.

Temperature Settings: Refer to the dial markings: WARM (for keeping food warm), and numerical settings for various cooking tasks (e.g., 250°F for eggs, 350°F for pancakes, 400°F for searing).

To Operate: Plug in > Set dial > Wait for ready light to turn off > Cook. Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing.

  2. Eggs (Fried/Scrambled): 250°F - 300°F

  6. Keeping Food Warm: WARM setting (below 200°F)

Tip: For best results, preheat the griddle before adding food. Avoid using metal utensils that can scratch the non-stick surface; use nylon, wooden, or silicone tools.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Griddle Surface: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stuck-on food, use a nylon scrubbing pad with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
  2. Removable Drip Tray: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. It is dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
  3. Exterior Housing: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Storage: Ensure the unit is completely dry. Wrap the cord around the storage wraps on the bottom of the unit. Store in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Never pour water directly onto the cooking surface or housing. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners.
