Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, dry, level, and heat-resistant surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the unit and baking pan.
  2. Insert the kneading paddle onto the shaft inside the baking pan.
  3. Place the baking pan into the bread maker by aligning and turning clockwise to lock.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface away from water, heat sources, and flammable materials. Do not operate in an enclosed space.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, clean the baking pan, kneading paddle, and lid with warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.

  1. Select a test cycle: Use the BASIC setting with a simple recipe to familiarize yourself with the machine.
  2. Set the loaf size: Press the LOAF SIZE button to select 1.0 lb, 1.5 lb, or 2.0 lb.
  3. Set the crust color: Press the CRUST button to select Light, Medium, or Dark.
  4. Set the timer (optional): Use the +/- buttons to set a delay start time if desired.
  5. Press START/STOP to begin the cycle.

CAUTION! The exterior and viewing window will become hot during operation. Do not touch during use.

Using the Bread Maker

Follow recipes precisely, adding ingredients in the order specified (usually liquids first, then dry ingredients, yeast last).

  1. Ensure the baking pan is correctly locked into the unit.
  2. Add ingredients to the baking pan in the recommended order.
  3. Select the desired MENU program using the MENU button.
  4. Select LOAF SIZE and CRUST COLOR.
  5. Set the TIMER if using a delayed start.
  6. Press START/STOP to begin the cycle. The display will show the time remaining.
  7. When the "Add Ingredient" signal sounds (if applicable), add nuts, fruits, etc.
  8. When the cycle is complete, the unit will beep. Use oven mitts to remove the hot baking pan.
  9. Remove the loaf from the pan and the kneading paddle from the loaf promptly. Cool on a wire rack.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Baking Pan & Paddle: Wash in warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Exterior: Wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.
  3. Lid & Viewing Window: Wipe with a damp cloth. The interior of the lid may have condensation; dry after use.
  4. Main Housing: Crumbs can be brushed out of the unit when cool. Never wash the main housing.

CAUTION! Do not put the baking pan, paddle, or lid in the dishwasher unless specified as dishwasher safe. The main unit is NOT submersible.
