Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

  1. Place griddle on a clean, dry, level, heat-resistant surface away from edges.
  2. Insert the removable grease tray into the slot at the front of the griddle.
  3. Ensure the power cord is fully unwound and plugged into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Keep at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides and above the unit during use.

WARNING! Do not use on or near combustible materials. Never immerse the unit, cord, or plug in water.

First-Time Use

Before first use, wash the griddle plate and grease tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

  1. Plug the cord into an outlet. The Power light will illuminate.
  2. Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature. The Preheat light will illuminate.
  3. Allow the griddle to preheat for approximately 10 minutes. The Preheat light will turn off when ready.
  4. Lightly coat the cooking surface with a small amount of cooking oil or non-stick spray.
  5. You are now ready to cook.

CAUTION! The cooking surface and unit will become very hot. Always use utensils and handle with care.

Controls and Operation

Primary control is the thermostat dial. Front panel houses Power and Preheat indicator lights.

Thermostat Dial: Turn clockwise to increase temperature. Settings include WARM, and numbered increments up to 400°F.

Indicator Lights:
Power (Green): On when unit is plugged in and receiving power.
Preheat (Red): On while the griddle is heating to the selected temperature. Turns off when temperature is reached and cycles on/off to maintain heat.

Tip: For best results, preheat with the thermostat set to your desired cooking temperature.

Cooking Guide

Recommended temperature settings for common foods. Times are approximate.

  1. Pancakes/Waffles: 375°F. Pour batter, flip when bubbles form.
  2. Eggs: 325°F. Use a small amount of butter or oil.
  3. Bacon/Sausage: 400°F. Cook until desired crispness.
  4. Burgers/Steaks: 400°F. 4-6 minutes per side for medium.
  5. Grilled Cheese: 350°F. Butter bread, cook until golden brown.
  6. French Toast: 375°F. Dip bread in egg mixture, cook 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Vegetables: 350°F. Toss in oil, cook until tender.

Tip: Use wooden, silicone, or nylon utensils to preserve the non-stick coating.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Remove the grease tray and empty contents. Wash tray in warm, soapy water.
  2. Wipe the griddle plate with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  3. For stubborn residue, sprinkle baking soda on a damp cloth and gently scrub.
  4. Rinse all parts with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  5. Wipe the exterior housing with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water.
  6. Store in a dry place with the cord wrapped in the storage area.

CAUTION! Never use metal utensils or sharp objects on the non-stick surface.
