Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wipe cooking plates with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  3. Ensure drip tray is properly inserted at the front of the unit.
  4. Plug into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Keep at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for ventilation.

WARNING! Do not use near water or flammable materials. Ensure hands are dry when plugging in.

First-Time Use

Before first use, season the cooking plates to prevent sticking.

  1. Set temperature dial to medium heat and allow to preheat for 5 minutes.
  2. Lightly brush cooking plates with a small amount of cooking oil.
  3. Allow oil to heat for 2 minutes, then wipe off excess with a paper towel.
  4. Unit is now ready for cooking. Follow recipe book for best results.

CAUTION! Cooking plates will be hot during and after use. Use handles only.

Operation Steps:

  1. Plug in unit; power indicator light will illuminate.

  4. Place food on bottom cooking plate, close lid gently using cool-touch handles.

  6. Open lid, remove food with non-metallic utensils.
  7. Turn dial to OFF, unplug, and allow to cool before cleaning.

Tip: Do not use metal utensils on non-stick surfaces to avoid scratching.

CAUTION! Never use steel wool or harsh chemicals on non-stick surfaces.
