Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Ensure pitcher is clean before first use.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from pitcher and filter cartridge.
  2. Rinse the pitcher and lid with clean water.
  3. Prepare the filter: Remove from packaging and soak in cold water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert filter: Place cartridge into the filter holder in the pitcher lid assembly.
  5. Assemble lid: Attach lid securely to the pitcher body.

WARNING! Do not use hot water to soak filter. Handle filter cartridge with clean hands to avoid contamination.

First-Time Use

After installation, prepare the pitcher for initial use.

  1. Fill pitcher: Open flip-top lid and fill reservoir with cold tap water.
  2. Initial filtration: Allow water to filter through completely (may take several minutes).
  3. Discard first two pitchers: For optimal performance, discard the first two full pitchers of filtered water.
  4. Activate indicator: Press and hold the FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds to set indicator to 100%.
  5. Begin normal use: The pitcher is now ready for regular use.

CAUTION! Do not drink water from the first two full pitchers after filter installation.

Flip-Top Lid: Press button on lid to open for filling. Closes securely to prevent spills.

Pour Spout: Designed for drip-free pouring. Lid must be closed for proper pouring.

Filtration Process

The multi-stage filter reduces specific contaminants while improving water taste.

  1. Stage 1: Pre-filter removes sediment and particles.
  2. Stage 2: Activated carbon reduces chlorine, taste, and odor.
  3. Stage 3: Ion exchange reduces heavy metals including lead and mercury.
  4. Stage 4: Final polishing layer captures remaining particles.

Tip: For best results, use cold tap water and store pitcher in refrigerator.

Maintenance & Filter Replacement

Regular filter replacement ensures optimal performance.

  1. Monitor indicator: Replace filter when indicator shows red (below 30%).
  2. Remove old filter: Open lid, lift out used filter cartridge.
  3. Prepare new filter: Soak replacement cartridge in cold water for 15 minutes.
  4. Insert new filter: Place in filter holder with arrow pointing downward.
  5. Reset indicator: Press and hold FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds.
  6. Prime filter: Discard first two pitchers of filtered water.

WARNING! Do not use filter beyond recommended lifespan. Replace every 2 months or after filtering 40 gallons.

Care & Cleaning

Regular cleaning maintains hygiene and performance.

  1. Daily: Rinse pitcher with clean water after each use.
  2. Weekly: Disassemble and wash all parts (except filter) with mild dish soap and warm water.
  3. Monthly: Clean exterior with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Storage: When not in use, empty pitcher and store with lid open to prevent odors.

CAUTION! Do not wash filter cartridge with soap or detergents. Do not put pitcher or lid in dishwasher.
