Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash the cooking pot, lid, and steam rack with warm soapy water.
  3. Place the pressure cooker on a flat, stable countertop away from edges.
  4. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides for ventilation.
  5. Insert the condensation collector into its slot on the back of the unit.

WARNING! Do not place under cabinets or near flammable materials. Ensure the power cord is not dangling over the edge.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; perform a water test before first use.

  1. Add 3 cups of water to the cooking pot.
  2. Close and lock the lid, ensuring the steam release valve is set to "Sealing".
  3. Press the "Manual" button, set time to 5 minutes using +/- buttons.
  4. Press "Start". The unit will build pressure and begin cooking.
  5. After cooking, allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then turn valve to "Venting".
  6. Open lid away from your face to avoid steam.

CAUTION! Always ensure the lid is properly locked before starting any pressure program.

  1. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a 120V outlet.
  2. Do not use an extension cord; plug directly into wall outlet.
  3. Ensure the outlet is grounded and dedicated to the appliance.

Tip: Use a surge protector for added safety.

Cooking Programs

Supports pressure cooking, slow cooking, sautéing, steaming, and yogurt making.

  1. Add ingredients to pot, ensuring not to exceed MAX fill line.
  2. Close and lock lid; set steam release valve to "Sealing".
