Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, stable, dry surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the unit.
  2. Wash the water reservoir, travel mug, and drip tray with warm soapy water.
  3. Place the coffeemaker on a flat surface near an electrical outlet.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach to the unit.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse the base, cord, or plug in water. Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components.

First-Time Use

Before first brew, run a cleaning cycle to remove any manufacturing residues.

  1. Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line with fresh cold water.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 14 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
  4. Press and hold the CLEAN button for 3 seconds to start the cleaning cycle.
  5. Allow the full cycle to complete (approximately 5 minutes).
  6. Discard the water from the mug. The unit is now ready for brewing.

CAUTION! The brewing chamber and water will become hot during operation. Avoid contact with hot surfaces.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, BREW SIZE (6, 8, 10, 12, 14 oz), STRENGTH (Regular/Bold), CLEAN, PROGRAM.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Select brew size with BREW SIZE button. Press STRENGTH to toggle between Regular and Bold extraction. Use PROGRAM to set auto-brew time. CLEAN initiates cleaning cycle.

Settings: Default brew size is 8 oz. Strength setting adjusts water flow for flavor intensity. Program mode allows setting a 24-hour clock and auto-brew time. Auto-off activates 30 minutes after last brew (can be disabled in settings).

Brewing Guide

For optimal coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled to desired level.
  2. Place an empty mug or travel mug on the drip tray.
  3. Insert a single-serve pod into the brewing chamber, or add ground coffee to the reusable filter.
  4. Close the brewing chamber lid securely.
  5. Press POWER to turn on the unit.
  6. Select your desired BREW SIZE and STRENGTH.
  7. Press the illuminated BREW button to start brewing.
  8. For Brew Pause, press BREW again during cycle to temporarily stop flow.
  9. When brewing is complete, discard the used pod or grounds.

Tip: Preheat your mug with hot water for a hotter beverage. Use filtered water for better taste and to reduce scale buildup.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and water reservoir.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash the drip tray, water reservoir, and travel mug in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Run a cleaning cycle (press and hold CLEAN for 3 seconds) with fresh water.
  4. As Needed: Clean the needle that pierces the pod with a paperclip or provided cleaning tool to prevent clogging.

CAUTION! Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when the "DESCALE" light illuminates, depending on water hardness.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz fresh water.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 20 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press POWER to turn on the unit.
  4. Press and hold the CLEAN and STRENGTH buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. The unit will run the entire reservoir through the system. This may take 15-20 minutes.
  6. When the cycle is complete, discard the vinegar solution from the mug.
  7. Rinse the water reservoir thoroughly and refill with fresh cold water.
  8. Run two full cleaning cycles (using the CLEAN button) with fresh water to flush any remaining vinegar.

WARNING! Do not use descaling solutions other than white vinegar. Ensure proper ventilation during the descaling process.
