Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, dry, level surface.

  3. Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder (soak filter for 15 minutes first).
  4. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  5. Plug power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse base, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Use

Before first brew, run a cleaning cycle with water only.

  1. Fill water reservoir with clean water to MAX line.
  2. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  3. Press CLEAN button to start cleaning cycle (cycle runs for about 30 minutes).
  4. Discard water from carafe after cycle completes.
  5. Your coffee maker is now ready for brewing.

CAUTION! Ensure carafe is properly seated on warming plate to avoid spills.
