Controls and Functions

Control Panel located on the Motor Base.

Main Controls: ON/OFF Switch, PULSE Button, SPEED CONTROL Dial (LOW/HIGH).

Operation: Ensure the bowl and lid are correctly locked. Select speed. Use the PULSE button for short bursts to achieve desired consistency. The motor will not operate unless the bowl and lid are properly locked (safety interlock).

Using the Discs & Blades

Select the correct blade or disc for your task.

  1. S-Blade (Metal Blade): For chopping onions, making nut butter, pureeing soups.
  2. Dough Blade: For kneading yeast doughs (bread, pizza). Do not use for heavy cookie dough.
  3. Slicing Disc: For uniform slices of cucumbers, potatoes, apples. Use the food pusher.
  4. Shredding Disc: For shredding cheese, carrots, cabbage.

Tip: Cut food into chunks that fit easily into the feed tube for best results with discs.

Processing Techniques

For optimal results, process in batches if overfilling the bowl.

  1. Chopping: Use the S-Blade on PULSE. Do not run continuously for more than 20-30 seconds.
  2. Kneading Dough: Use the Dough Blade on LOW speed. Do not process more than the recommended amount of flour.
  3. Slicing/Shredding: Pack food firmly in the feed tube for even slices. Use even pressure with the food pusher.
  4. Emulsifying: For mayonnaise or dressings, add liquid in a slow, steady stream through the feed tube while the machine is running.

WARNING! Never process boiling hot liquids. Allow them to cool to prevent pressure buildup and scalding.

Safety Features

Safety Interlock: The motor will not operate unless the work bowl is properly seated and the lid is correctly locked. Overload Protection: The motor may shut off temporarily if overloaded. Unplug and allow to cool for 15 minutes before resuming.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before cleaning. The Motor Base should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water.

Dishwasher Safe: The Work Bowl, Lid, Feed Tube, Blades, and Discs are top-rack dishwasher safe. Hand washing with warm, soapy water is recommended for longevity.
