Specifications

Controls and Functions

Control Panel on Motor Base features two primary controls.

On Button: Press for continuous operation. Release to stop. Used for extended shredding, slicing, or mixing.

Pulse Button: Press and hold for momentary operation. Releases when button is released. Ideal for chopping, mincing, and achieving coarse textures without over-processing.

Safety Lock: The unit will not operate unless the work bowl is correctly positioned and the lid is securely locked in place.

Using Attachments

Select the correct blade or disc for your task.

  1. S-Blade (Chopping): For chopping onions, making nut butter, pureeing soups. Use the PULSE function.
  2. Dough Blade: For kneading yeast doughs. Use the ON function for 1-2 minutes until dough forms a ball.
  3. Slicing Disc: For slicing cucumbers, potatoes, apples. Feed food through the tube using the pusher with the ON function engaged.
  4. Shredding Disc: For shredding cheese, carrots, zucchini. Use the ON function.

Tip: For best results, ensure food is dry and cut to fit the feed tube. Use firm pressure with the pusher.

Processing Techniques

Follow these guidelines for optimal results.

  1. Chopping: Use the S-Blade. Fill bowl no more than halfway. Use quick pulses.
  2. Kneading Dough: Use the Dough Blade. Do not exceed recommended flour amount (consult recipe). Process until dough cleans the side of the bowl.
  3. Slicing/Shredding: Use appropriate disc. Place food vertically in feed tube for long slices, horizontally for shorter pieces or rounds.
  4. Emulsifying: For mayonnaise or dressings, add liquid slowly through the feed tube while the machine is running.
  5. Clearing Bowl: Use the spatula to scrape down sides only when the unit is OFF and unplugged.

WARNING! Do not process extremely hard foods (like coffee beans, ice cubes) as they may damage the blade or motor.

Safety Features

Interlock System: The processor will not operate unless the bowl is properly seated on the base AND the lid is locked onto the bowl. This prevents accidental activation.

Feed Tube & Pusher: The small feed tube opening and the use of the pusher help keep hands and utensils away from moving blades.

Non-Slip Feet: Helps stabilize the unit during operation.

Care & Cleaning

Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

  1. Motor Base: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or place in dishwasher.
  2. Removable Parts: Bowl, lid, blades, discs, pusher, and spatula are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). Wash in warm, soapy water if hand washing. Dry thoroughly.
  3. To clean under the blade assembly, carefully lift it off the center shaft. Wash and dry the shaft area.

CAUTION! Blades and discs are extremely sharp. Handle with care. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on plastic parts.
