Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, dry, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from coffeemaker and carafe.
  2. Wash carafe and filter basket with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert charcoal water filter into filter holder (soak filter first per instructions).
  4. Place empty carafe on warming plate.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not immerse coffeemaker, cord, or plug in water. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on coffeemaker; set clock and preferences.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR/MIN to set time, press CLOCK to confirm.
  2. Prime filter: Run a cycle of clean water (without coffee) to activate charcoal filter.
  3. Adjust warming plate: Press WARM button to select Low or High setting.
  4. Set auto shut-off: Press AUTO OFF to choose duration (0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours).

CAUTION! Ensure carafe is properly seated before brewing to prevent spills.

Brewing Coffee

For regular or programmed brewing.

  1. Fill water reservoir with cold water (use cup markings).
  2. Insert filter (paper or permanent) into basket.
  3. Add ground coffee (1 tbsp per cup).
  4. Place carafe on warming plate.
  5. Press POWER to brew immediately.
  6. For programmed brew: Set clock, press PROGRAM, set start time with HOUR/MIN, press PROGRAM to confirm.
  7. Pause & Serve: Press PAUSE during brewing to pour a cup.

Tip: Use filtered water for best taste. Clean carafe after each use.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Empty and rinse carafe, filter basket.
  2. Weekly: Clean exterior with damp cloth; descale if needed.
  3. Monthly: Replace charcoal water filter (soak new filter 15 minutes first).
  4. Self-Clean: Press CLEAN button, add equal parts water/vinegar to reservoir, run cycle, then run 2 cycles with clean water.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Programming Guide

Set coffeemaker to brew at a specific time.

  1. Ensure clock is set correctly.
  2. Press PROGRAM; "PROG" light flashes.
  3. Press HOUR to set hour, MIN to set minutes for brew start.
  4. Press PROGRAM to confirm; "PROG" light stays on.
  5. Add water, filter, coffee as usual.
  6. Coffeemaker will brew at set time.
  7. To cancel program: Press PROGRAM twice.

Note: Power interruption resets program; reset clock after outage.

Care Instructions

Unplug and cool before cleaning. Wipe exterior with soft, damp cloth.
